Lismore photographer Andrew Sooby, of Luminous Mudbrick, captured this beautiful close up of an Eastern Water Dragon for Verandah Magazine at Wategos Beach. “He was in the grass by one of the benches overlooking the beach,” says Sooby, “totally unphased by the people and traffic. It was a week before spring and lizards were out sunning themselves.”
