Sandii Cochrane is a mosaic artist who loves photography. She hails from so many places, she says: “It’s kinda ridiculous but currently Suffolk Park, next to Byron Bay, where my soul sings with the inspiration provided by the beautiful environment I’m lucky enough to live in.” She has a love of….detail! Known to her friends as Serendipity Sandii, her work, she would like to think, is serendipitous. Her mosaic art brings new life to broken and unusual objects. Almost every morning Sandii is awake before the sun and can be found on Tallow Beach capturing the sunrise – in the spot where it first greets Australia.
