Mark Brandist was close to death when he turned to spiritual healer Jerry Sargeant for help. The results astonished his doctors, his family and himself.
Ex-jockey turned medium Mark Brandist was in a mess. A long period of stomach upset had finally sent him to the doctor, who had ordered blood tests and scans for him. ‘”My blood tests showed E-coli and Peritonitis,” says Brandist. “Scans showed three cysts in my intestine and a large growth.”
The doctors didn’t hold out much hope, but they told him that if he made it through the next 48 hours they would refer him to a surgeon to have ten feet of his large intestine removed, and a colostomy bag fitted. “I made it,” Brandist says, “and straight away they made an appointment with the surgeon.”
But Brandist – who had become a medium after a near-death experience many years before, is a man with an open mind, and he decided to search for another option. “That’s when I discovered Jerry Sargeant and Star Magic,” he says. “I called Jerry’s office and Jerry agreed to facilitate a healing for me. He asked me to lie on the bed and relax. I was in another town, far from Jerry – he does nearly all of his healings remotely, but did as he asked. The room went ice cold. I saw two big shafts of light by the side of my bed and then it felt as though my body was being stretched out. I found myself drifting and then looked up and I was in a room full of people. They looked like surgeons and they were all standing around looking at me. The building was tall, made of stone and ancient looking. I felt my stomach being worked on and then a hand – Jerry’s hand, up to the ends of his fingers – entered my stomach right where the major pain was. I am not sure how long this went on for because time just seemed to stand still. It could have been hours or minutes. I then came around in my room and felt disorientated. I stood up, went to the bathroom and looked down at my stomach. There was a big scar across it. I couldn’t believe it. I took a photo to show Jerry and my mum as it shocked me.”
The second healing was similar, and this time Brandist, who had suffered some major injuries after he’d been trampled on by several horses in his fall, felt Sargeant working on his spine as well. “I went to the doctor in January and he almost fell off of his chair. He was amazed,” says Brandist. “The swelling in my stomach had gone and I was eating. No more diarrhoea and zero pain. He said I looked twenty years younger. Everyone was telling me I looked younger. I was due to see the surgeon on the 22nd February. My doctor said you don’t need the operation anymore. I have had no more pain, no more tablets, my digestion is perfect. The lumps in my intestine have disappeared. My blood tests came back with no E-coli or Peritonitis. I was cured. It was a miracle.’’
