Our Shot of the Week photographer Tony Betts has been living in the Northern Rivers since 1999. “I arrived here as a refugee from Sydney,” he says, “although I did have a stint in Dublin for four years where I was President of the Dublin Camera Club.” He took this photo of dawn on the Pimpana River on the Gold Coast from the bow of a houseboat. “The ripples on the water in the early morning from a couple of passing fishermen, along with the beautiful cloud formation gives this shot its visual interest,” he says.
Tony Betts used a Nikon D800, Nikon 24-70 f2.8 Zoom at 70mm Exposure 1/60 f5.6 ISO400.
