Alex Clarke has been one of Verandah Magazine’s favourite landscape photographers this year, so it’s only right that we point out that many of his beautiful images from the Northern Rivers – and elsewhere – are available as a 2016 calendar.
“Storm season is the defining characteristic of the subtropical climate that we enjoy in the northern rivers,” says Clarke. “Storm cells can be severe and damaging, but are also intensely beautiful forces of nature that can inspire awe and respect for the natural world.” Clarke captured the heart of this cell in October as it swept through Bentley at over 100 km/h on its way towards the coast.
